Metal Random Packing for Distillation and Absorption Columns

KEMVORI supplies metal random packing for industrial distillation, absorption, stripping, and gas–liquid separation processes. Our product range includes metal Pall rings and metal saddle-type packing, designed to provide effective gas–liquid contact and open flow passages within packed columns.

Metal Pall rings feature cylindrical structures with punched openings and inward-bent tabs, increasing the accessible surface area while allowing vapor and liquid to flow through the packing bed. Metal saddle packing features an open, curved geometry that promotes gas–liquid interaction and helps reduce flow resistance when properly selected for the operating conditions.

These random packing types are used in chemical processing, petrochemical refining, and industrial separation equipment where mass transfer efficiency, column capacity, and pressure drop are important considerations.

Packing selection depends on column diameter, gas and liquid loads, operating temperature, pressure, fouling tendency, and corrosion requirements. Material grades, packing dimensions, and configurations can be specified according to project requirements to support reliable separation performance.
